Blake Wilson

Blake Wilson was born and raised in Shreveport, LA.  He attended C.E. Byrd High School; he played football and lacrosse for the Yellow Jackets.  He was on the lacrosse team from 2014 – 2018; he was named a Team Captain during his ‘18 campaign.

In 2020, Blake decided to join the officiating ranks, and became a member of LOLA.  He stated that it would be a fun way to give back to the sport. He did very well in his rookie season as an official, and displayed plenty potential to have a successful lacrosse officiating career.  Lacrosse is the only sport that he officiates.

The Shreveport native, Baton Rouge based official is currently attending LSU; he has been studying Business Management for the past couple of years.  Blake’s favorite hobby is water sports; he enjoys wakeboarding and wake-surfing.  One fun fact, Blake stated that he grew up playing the guitar and singing.  Maybe it’s his calling to become a rockstar amongst the officiating ranks.
